Prof. Elenice Maria Schons Silva

Elenice holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry and a master's degree in Mineral Engineering from the Federal University of Ouro Preto. She has a doctorate in Metallurgical, Materials and Mining Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with a sandwich period at the Technical University of Clausthal, Germany. Currently, she is an associate professor II at the Federal University of Catalão. She is the vice-coordinator of the Mineral Processing Research Center (CPMin). Her work focuses on methods for concentrating and enriching ores, with emphasis on mineral flotation.
